Why we built this
A friend tried to help her mother fix a leaking pipe — from 4,000 kilometers away.
She found someone willing to help on a Facebook group. She sent the money. He stopped replying.
This isn't unusual. It happens every day, to millions of people. Distance turns small problems into big ones. Helping someone you love becomes an act of faith in strangers you can't verify.
We thought there should be a better way.
What we're building
Go4u is cross-border trust infrastructure.
Two strangers, often in different countries, agree to a task. Money sits in escrow. Identity is verified on both sides. The agreement is written down — clearly, in the language each side understands. Payment releases when the work is done.
Nothing about this is new on its own. Escrow has been around for centuries. KYC is standard in finance. Contracts predate the internet.
What's new is putting them together, simply, for the millions of small tasks that move between countries every day — and making the whole thing feel like a few taps on a phone.
Three ideas, working together
Escrow. When a task is confirmed, the requester's payment is held. The agent knows the money exists before they start. The requester knows it won't be released until they approve.
Verified identity. Both sides go through KYC. We don't ask you to trust strangers. We ask you to trust a verified person, with a real name, behind a real account.
Clear agreements. Every confirmed task generates a written agreement — what's expected, what's being paid, when it's due. AI helps draft it. Both sides sign before work begins.
Together, these three remove most of the reasons a cross-border task goes wrong.
Who we are
Go4u is built by a small team based in Canada.
We're not from one country, and we're not building for one country. The first corridor we're focused on is Germany–Türkiye, but the infrastructure works wherever two people in different places need to trust each other to get something done.
